The Summit field guide.

What happens when you launch, where the fees go, and what nobody can do to your token afterwards.

Launching

Pick a name, a ticker, an image, a supply and a starting market cap. Choose what your token trades against, choose a mode, and deploy. One transaction creates the token, opens its market and locks the liquidity.

No wallet yet? Sign in with X and one is created for you. You can take its key whenever you want, from the Rewards page.

The whole supply goes into a single-sided Uniswap v4 position that only the locker can add to. Nobody, including us, can pull it out.

Launch modes

The mode you pick at launch decides how the fee behaves and where it goes. It is fixed for the life of the token. Every trade pays the fee in the paired asset, buys and sells alike. 30% runs the platform, and the rest follows your mode.

Creator Launch1%, fixed

All of the creator share is yours. Nothing to configure.

Community LaunchUp to 5%, your choice

You decide how the share splits between you and your holders.

Buyback LaunchUp to 5%, your choice

You take nothing. The share buys the token back and burns it.

Protected LaunchUp to 5%, after the fade

Buys open at 99% and fall to your fee over 98 seconds.

On a Protected Launch, only buys fade. Sells pay your resting fee from the first second, and your own first buy, made inside the launch transaction, is exempt. The point is to make racing the launch worthless, not to tax you.

Pair assets

A pair asset is what people trade your token against. AVAX is the default, and it is the right answer for most launches. USDC, BTC.b and the Avalanche tokens people already hold are there too.

Anything else can be submitted from the launch page. It is listed if it is a normal ERC-20, takes no fee on transfer, and has at least $10,000 of real liquidity against AVAX.

A few assets have no instant route from AVAX, because their liquidity sits on v2-style pools. You can still pair with them and earn fees in them. What you cannot do is buy in with AVAX in one click, on those pairs only.

Creator fees

Your share of the fee can go to three recipients instead of one. Each slot is a wallet or an X account, with a percentage you set at launch. The percentages never change afterwards.

An X account does not need a wallet. The fees accrue to an address derived from the handle, which nobody holds the key to. When the owner signs in with X on this site, the handle is bound to their wallet, once, and everything waiting is paid out. We cover the gas.

Each recipient can hand their own slot to another address later. Nobody can touch anybody else's slot, and nothing already earned ever moves.

Claim your fees from the Rewards page, in the asset your token trades against.

Holder rewards

On a Community Launch, the holder share is paid out automatically, pro rata, to everyone holding the token. There is nothing to stake and no button to press.

A payout waits until the pot is worth more than the gas it costs to send, so a quiet token pays less often rather than burning its holders' rewards on fees.

What cannot happen to your token

Launched tokens are plain ERC-20s. No owner, no mint function, no pause, no blacklist, no tax on transfer. The supply that exists at launch is the supply forever, and every Summit token address ends in 222.

The fee is set once and can never be raised. The liquidity belongs to the locker and cannot be removed. Fees already credited to you cannot be moved by anyone.

One operational power exists, and it is worth knowing about. An admin key can point a pool's future creator fees at a new address, which is how a community takes over a token its creator abandoned. It only affects fees taken from that moment on, it can never reach the liquidity, the supply or a balance already earned. That same key can bind an X handle to a wallet by hand, which is how someone who lost access to their X account still gets paid.
